Responsibilities
The Group SEO Content Specialist will work with our Group Digital Marketing Manager and CMO to manage the day-to-day tasks of optimizing and creating effective SEO content, including on-page and off-page optimization and technical optimization. The person in this position must be detail-oriented, analytical, data driven, proactive, well organized, with native written and verbal English communication skills, and a desire to learn and excel.
The Group SEO Content Specialist will implement and deliver SEO content that drives traffic and conversions to our websites.
The Group SEO Content Specialist will be responsible for SEO activities across the regional offices, increasing valuable traffic directed to our websites and ensuring they are optimized to meet search engine best practice. This person is a key player for how we approach our organic online presence on search, images and video, delivering traffic, engagement, and conversions.
Job Duties
- Plan and execute SEO campaigns, video, and organic image placements
- Research, structure, write and proofread high-quality SEO-optimized content in English
- Analysing SEO content data to identify trends, topics, intent and anticipate consumer needs
- Measure and report performance of SEO campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
- Performing SEO content audits to assess how well existing content is performing.
- Improve page content performance based on data and new market trends
- Performing SEO content gap analyses to determine what type of content is missing and what is needed to reach KPIs
- Performing SEO website audits to assess if the website and its pages are optimized following best practice
- Support the marketing teams across regions to ensure their best practice and ability in reaching KPIs
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to create organic, landing pages and optimize user experience
- Evaluate user experience and customer decision journey across multiple channels
- Optimize organic conversion funnels
- Coordinate the SEO efforts between multiple teams in different regions
- Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners for content and performance strategies
Qualification
- 2+ years’ experience in SEO, web analytics or web design
- In-depth knowledge of Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEM Rush, and other SEO platforms
- Basic experience with HTML/HTML 5, CSS, Javascript libraries
- Basic understanding of server management, CDNs, web hosting
- Native English communication and writing skills are a must
- Demonstrated ability to develop content plans
- Experience in creative writing and copywriting short and long form and for various mediums
- Ability to manage expectation appropriately.
- Exceptional analysis and decision making, able to shift through large amounts of data to find insights and conclusions
- Strong planning and organization skills, able to manage multiple competing deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork, successfully engages with others to build, and maintain positive relationships
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Ability to have evidence-based opinions and stand-up for them
- Ability to change his/her mind when presented with new evidence
